We Need Your Troop!

2016 Webelos Woods:  XXXIV

Come join us at Mataguay Scout Ranch for one of the biggest camping events for Webelos Scouts and Boy Scouts put on by the San Diego-Imperial Council.  Each participating Troop will be staging an event on Saturday, which will be visited by the Webelos Scouts throughout the day. Build a monkey bridge, create a model campsite, teach Dutch oven or foil cooking, lead team building games, develop a compass course, build a pioneering project or pick any other event your Troop would like to do. We only ask that the event be focused on basic Scouting skills, fun and hands-on for the Webelos.

Register by October 16th  to include your troop information in the Webelos Woods event program. (PLEASE register as early as possible to help facilitate us planning the event.)  You will be able to list contact as well as specific information to help Webelos contact your troop after the event.

Friday Evening Activities:  Come early on Friday and your troop can help in presenting hiking, stargazing (astronomy) and other fun events.

Registration:  Just $5 per person and registration is available online only at www.sdicbsa.org.  T-shirts can be ordered for an additional $10 each (slightly higher amount for sizes above adult XL).   Part A & B (not the doctors release) of the NEW BSA medical form will be required for each participant at check in.  Please bring a copy for this event as they will not be returned.

What does your $5 get you? This is the opportunity to meet Webelos that will be graduating into Boy Scouts.  A chance to exercise Troop leadership skills while teaching Webelos about the fun ahead as a Boy Scout!  In addition you’ll receive a hat, a patch and a hot lunch on Saturday.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by October 17, 2016 to receive a refund. NO REFUNDS ON T-SHIRTS after October 7, 2016. Requests for a refund after October 17, 2016 will be at the discretion of the Event Coordinator. Please send all cancellations and requests for a refund to sdiccamp@scouting.org.
