Den Chief Training

June 24, 2017

 

Time:  8 am to Noon (Check in from 7:30am - 8:00am)

LDS Stake Center  (1545 S. Melrose Dr, Vista, 92081)

Cost:  $10 (Snacks, handouts and Den Chief Book will be provided)

Den Chief Training is the basic training course for Boy Scouts who wish to serve as a Den Chief in a Cub Scout Pack.  This training is required to receive the Den Chief Award!  Please wear your Boy Scout uniform!  Bring pen and paper!  

The Den Chief who completes this training will be equipped to carry out successfully his role and position of responsibility in his den, pack and troop.  He will understand his relationship to the adult den leaders and to the boys in his den and how that relates to his activities and responsibilities in the den.  Adult leaders who work with Den Chiefs are encouraged to attend with them to learn how to make best use of a Den Chief.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 3 days prior to the event. Refund requests made within the 3 days before the training will be at the discretion of the Training Chair. Please email your request to Andrew Royster at andrew.royster@scouting.org. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing of your refund.
