SDIC - OUTDOOR ETHICS

Leave No Trace Trainer Course

June 2017

What: Participants in this course will be certified as a Leave No Trace Trainer

              Training will include classroom time and participants will learn to demonstrate the principles

              and ethics of Leave No Trace.

When: June 9th - 10th

  • Arrive: June 9th (Friday) 6pm
  • Depart: June 10th (Saturday) 6pm

Where: Mataguay Scout Ranch Silva Lodge

Cost: $50 (food is included: Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Prerequisites: Complete Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly! online awareness course. Direct links to the course are found under the Course Info” link within our Program page.

Who: Venture Scouts and unit leaders that wish to bring the Outdoor Ethic message back to their units. The Trainer courses at Mataguay have a strong focus on the backcountry message of Leave No Trace and are more suitable for leaders in the Boy Scout or Venturing programs.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to your event. Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the staff partner.
