The San Diego 500 is a District and Council-level pinewood derby race that competes the fastest racers in the San Diego - Imperial council. These five ounce cars are constructed by Cub Scouts  who have won the privilege of representing their Pack at this annual race.

Only one Cub Scout per pack may be entered.

Every chartered Cub Scout Pack in the San Diego - Imperial Council may enter one (1) registered Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear OR  Webelos Cub Scout.  There are NO exceptions for larger units, ties, Pack errors or transferred winning cubs.

There are a limited number of racing slots available.  Applications will be accpted in order of receipt

If the Pack winner is not yet known, please complete this registration and then return to edit with racer's name when known.  

Note that this must be completed by April 14th, 2014 in order for the racer to receive a personalized certificate.

INITIAL APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER APRIL 11th WILL BE MARKED LATE AND THOSE RACERS WILL RACE ONLY IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
