The San Diego 500 is a District and Council-level pinewood derby race that competes the fastest racers in the San Diego - Imperial Council. These five ounce cars are constructed by Cub Scouts  who have won the privilege of representing their Pack at this annual race.

Only one Cub Scout per pack may be entered.

Every chartered Cub Scout Pack in the San Diego - Imperial Council may enter one (1) registered Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos Cub Scout.  There are NO exceptions for larger units, ties, Pack errors or transferred winning cubs.

Important Information:

There are a limited number of racing slots available.  Applications will be accpted in order of receipt

If the Pack winner is not yet known, please complete this registration and then return  after Pack Race to edit with racer's name and contact information when known.  

Note that the name must be completed by April 6th, 2015 in order for the racer to receive a personalized certificate.

INITIAL APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER APRIL 3rd WILL BE MARKED LATE AND THOSE RACERS WILL RACE ONLY IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
