Weekend by the Bay

August 30- September 1, 2019

Youth Aquatic Center (Fiesta Island)

Come join us for a weekend of Fun by the Bay.


ACTIVITIES:  boating, games, crafts, campfire, movie night, and more fun!

WHEN:   Friday, August 30 to Sunday September 1

Friday - check-in between 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday - activities start at 10:00 am, Campfire 4:30 pm, Dinner 6pm, Movie @ 8pm
Sunday – campers must check-out by 10:00 am.

COSTS:  Cubs, Parents, Scouts, and Leaders that are camping $40/each - only 248 spots available, first registered, first served. ($45 after August 15th)

$40 fee includes campsite, all Saturday activities, Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner, Sunday Breakfast


$20 for Saturday- ONLY  option; each youth and adult.  All Scout ranks and family members are invited (Register for Saturday ONLY event here)

For non scout family members under age 6 please use the the Saturday Only registration or contact office for more information

WHERE: Youth Aquatics Center at Camp Fiesta Island


  • Register now!  248 spots available.
  • Bring your own tent, & sleeping bags. You will be assigned an area in a campsite where you can set-up your tent.
  • Campers can leave either Saturday evening or Sunday morning by 10:00 am.
  • No weapons, pets, alcohol or electronics are permitted.


  • Campers are responsible for their own Friday Night food and cooking supplies.
  • Meals on Saturday and Sunday Breakfast will be served on the Bay view Terrace.
  • The Trading Post will be open on Saturday with snacks,  drinks, and other items.


BSA Health form Part A & B  will be required for each participant at check in.  Please bring a copy for this event as they will not be returned.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing 2 weeks prior to the event Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the Staff Partner and only for extreme, extenuating circumstances.

Please submit all requests for cancellations and refunds to sdiccamp@scouting.org or mail in your request to the camping Department SDIC-BSA, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA. 92103

Please allow 2-3 weeks after camp dates for processing of your refund if applicable.
