Balboa Crossroads Cub Day Camp General Information
SPACE ADVENTURE!
DATE/ TIME: This year’s District CUB Day Camp is June 18-22, 2018 from 9am-4pm at Camp Balboa.

Day Camp is an extension of the Cub Scout Program. It is designed to help individual scouts maintain the interest generated during the regular Scouting year through activities that can prepare for advancement. During the summer your scout is working towards the following school year’s rank (i.e. if he is currently a Wolf/2nd grade, then at camp he would work on the Bear Rank).
This summer we have archery, BB's, swimming, leather and wood crafts; Scout skills for their individual ranks such as First Aid and Flag etiquette; as well as sports and an obstacle course all developed around this year’s Day Camp Theme including the NOVA award.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION: District Day Camps are 100% volunteer operated and capacity will be determined by the number of volunteers.
Are you enthusiastic, caring and have a sense of adventure? We need you… one day or all five. We train you and your scout attends camp at a reduced rate.
Adults volunteering 3 or 4 days will receive a camp T-shirt and a $25 discount, volunteer all 5 days and the discount is $50!
Tiger partners must attend the entire time their Tiger is at camp; there is no volunteer discount. Tiger price is already discounted.
