Welcome to BALOO training! It is the Cub Scout leader training required for any Cub Scout den or pack outdoor event, including pack camping overnighters and Webelos den overnighters. BALOO training has two components—an online pre-requisite component and above practical hands-on component. The online component must be completed (REQUIRED) prior to the practical component. The online training contains introductory and basic information that will be built upon during the practical training. Both components must be completed to qualify as a “TRAINED” Cub Scout outdoor leader.
Participants will be camping overnight on Saturday and should bring tent, overnight sleeping supplies, chair, compass, Den Leader Guide, Cub Scout Leader Book. Field uniform and activity/unit t-shirt recommended; Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes & hat. Your classroom is the outdoors.
Bring completed Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B).
