It is designed to help individual Scouts maintain the interest generated during the regular Scouting year through activities that can prepare them for advancement. Participants who choose to attend partial week will not complete all projects and signoffs but will take home information and, in most cases, supplies to complete activity.
During the summer, Scouts are working towards the following school year's rank (i.e.: if currently a Wolf/2nd grade, then at camp he/she would work on the Bear Rank).
