Family Adventure Camp

location:  Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes County Park (2270 Wueste Rd, Chula Vista)

Check-in:  4-7 pm Friday (SATURDAY check-in 7:30-9 am)
Check out:  9-11 am Sunday

These weekends are intended to provide local youth who would not otherwise have exposure to outdoor program the opportunity to experience the great outdoors and enjoy the overnight camping experience.

To make these weekends a success, we need great volunteers like you to help run activity stations.  Activities include crafts, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, archery, and more. In the evenings, participants can take part in a movie night and a campfire program. Activity station assignments are on a first come, first served basis.  Once you have completed your registration, you will receive an email from Amber Green confirming you station assignment and some suggested activities for your station.  

Your unit can stay the weekend or come just for the day.  Camping and Saturday lunch is included for volunteers.  A meal plan to include all Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast can be added for $15 per person.   

If the County Health Restrictions change, we will send out an update to the email address provided at registration.

Enjoy your stay as you hike, fish, play games, shoot archery and explore the camp with your family.
