Location: Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, 1800 Cabrillo Memorial Drive, San Diego, CA 92106

• 7:30 - 8:00 am  Arrive at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery (Parking is free but limited; car pooling and arriving Early are suggested)
• 7:30 - 8:15 am  Units check in for certificate (Send only one (1) person/unit to check in)
• 8:15 am  Ceremony commences at Flag Circle
• 8:30 am  Grave site flag placement
• 10:00 am  Depart Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery

The rules for Fort Rosecrans cemetery state that there can be no sales of items on federal property.  This includes the sale of event patches for the flag placement event.  We have been unaware of this rule, until now. 

Many participants enjoy having a patch to commemorate their participation in this annual honoring of our nation’s fallen service members.  In order to still provide patches, interested participants can purchase them ahead of time, as part of the online registration system.    

Pre-ordered patches can be picked up at the event.  We are just prohibited from collecting money there. 

Patches can also be purchased after the event, at the Boy Scout Council Service Center (while supplies last).  For more information call 619-298-6121.  NOTE: Patches are optional and purchase is not required in order to be part of the Memorial Day flag placement.
