Leave No Trace Skills

WHO: Adult and youth leaders, ages 14 years old and up

WHEN: October 19 & 20 (Sat/Sun), 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day

WHERE: Camp Balboa, Atherton Hall, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA 92103

WHY: All course participants taking the two-day Leave No Trace course learn outdoor skills, ethics, and have several opportunities to practice these low-impact techniques

COST: 

For Adult leaders, ages 18 years old and up

$50 fee includes teaching materials and LNT Level 1 Instructor certification (formerly called Trainer).

Level 1 instructor course graduates can teach Leave No Trace Skills Course and Workshops to their scout unit.

For Youth, ages 14-17 years old 

$20 fee for Leave No Trace Skills course

Course graduates satisfy the Leave No Trace training requirement for Outdoor Ethics awards.  

Bring a lunch each day and your BSA Health forms A and B
