Leave No Trace Trainer Course

Spring 2020

 

WHO: All Scouting adult leaders and Venturing age youths who want to bring the Outdoor Ethics message back to their district and unit.

 

WHAT: Leave No Trace Trainer graduates will be able to teach the BSA curriculum for Leave No Trace 101 and Leave No Trace Awareness.

 

WHEN:

April 14 (Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM) Evening session introduces the need and history of Leave No Trace.

April 25 – 26 (Saturday, 8:00 AM, to Sunday, 2:00 PM) Overnight camp will put into practice the Seven Principles.  

 

WHERE: Atherton Hall, Camp Balboa, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA

 

COST: $50 includes course material, LNT registration, and most meals (Participants will plan and prepare Saturday dinner using learned skills)

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to your event. Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the staff partner.
