Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Lifesaving Merit Badge.

Check in will start at 8:45 

ADULTS: You are welcome to drop off your scout and come back and get them once the event is over. We will also have a few tables and chairs if you would like to stay. There should be internet access though might not be reliable. We will also have light refreshments water, coffee, muffins. 

SCOUTS: MUST HAVE SWIMMING MB completed before this class. This is mandated by Scouting America. Also, there is a MANDATORY 400 yard swim*. This will be the first requirement they complete. PARENTS MUST STAY until their scout as passed this swim test. They will be given 2 attempts.

All scouts attending also must bring a Merit Badge Blue Card, signed by their Unit Leader. 

*Swim continuously for 400 yards using each of the following strokes in a strong manner, in good form with rhythmic breathing, for at least 50 continuous yards: front crawl, sidestroke, breaststroke, and elementary backstroke.
