Mataguay Memorial Weekend Family Camp
May 28-30, 2021
Scouts and their families are invited to join us for a weekend getaway to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Cost: $25 (per person)
Siblings 2yr-5yr $10, Children under 2 NO CHARGE
CAPACITY IS LIMITED SIGN UP EARLY- Absolutely no Walk-ins on Day of event
As the County Health Restrictions change, we will update the camping and activities.
Current guidelines have Families camp by individual household, we will place those in the same unit near each other. All meals are the responsibility of each individual household, no group cooking*.
Enjoy your stay as you hike, bike, fish, play games, and explore the camp with your family.
*Please note: all activities are subject to change based on the latest County Health Guidelines.
This event is for scouts and their families. All scouts are welcome!
if available, Shooting sports range time will be assigned at the event. We will do our best to keep units together, however first priority is based on date of registration. Late registrants may not be guaranteed Range time.
Activities: the lakefront is open for fishing (bring your own gear), hiking, bring your bike and helmet (mountain bike tires recommended), nature, crafts, & games
Memorial Weekend Presentation: 7 pm Saturday night
Check-in: 4-8 pm Friday at A-Frame (SATURDAY check-in 7:30-9 am)
Check out: 4pm Sunday
*No program provided on Sunday. You and your family will be allowed to stay through Sunday afternoon for small hikes, fish at the lake with your own equipment or just enjoy family time at the campsite!
What to Bring: Completed BSA Health form Part A & B for EVERY participant (adult and youth) tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, clothing for warm and cold weather, hat, ALL food and cooking stoves, toiletries, sunscreen, water, snacks, chair, flashlight and a sense of adventure!
What NOT to Bring: Weapons (toy or real), pets, skateboards, or alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the property. NO OPEN-TOED SHOES OR SANDALS. Service animals are the only animals allowed and they must be documented.
