The purpose of this event is to provide Explorers, Venturers or Sea Scouts and their leaders with an opportunity to receive instruction and hands-on experience in a variety of boating safety skills and equipment that is generally unavailable. Activities currently under consideration for 2018 include flares, helo ops, dewatering pumps, damage control, survival suits, hypothermia and fire fighting!
This event is open to all Explorers, Sea Scouts and Leaders, Venturing youth, adults and leaders. Space is limited to 70 youth. All youth must be at least 13 and have completed the 8th grade and currently registered with the Boy Scouts of America as a Middle School Explorer Club, Sea Scout or Venturer! Part A: Informed Consent, Release Agreement, and Authorization is required at registration!
