With school out and resident camps cancelled, you may be looking for camp programs for your Scout.
Our Scouts BSA day camp program is for Scouts who are looking for opportunities to earn merit badges (in person) and get outdoors. This program will use a merit badge track format so Scouts and staff will remain in the same group and same program area for the duration of the week. Classes will predominantly take place in outdoor settings and capacity is limited in each track to ensure everyone’s safety. Scouts can only participate in one track per week. If more than one track is desired, the Scout will have to participate in an additional week. Scouts cannot take an AM and PM track in the same week.
Tracks will only run based on registrations so sign up early. We will also offer a second session of a track if there is enough interest in a particular week.
Programs
- Merit Badge Tracks (see Track Schedule) – Scouts choose one track with 4-5 (full day) or 2-4 (half day) merit badges/awards and stay in the same group with the same staff each day.
- Trail to First Class (full day option only) The Trailblazer Track focuses on requirements on the Trail to First class including Totin' Chip, Firem'n Chit, First Aid Merit Badge, Wood Carving Merit Badge, & Fire Safety Merit Badge.
Cost
$350 per full week participant (all day -includes program supplies, patch, shirt, and 2 snacks each day)
$175 per half week participant (AM or PM only -includes program supplies, patch, shirt, and 2 snacks each day)
Full-day participants will need to bring a sack lunch. More information will be sent about the check-in process, pre-requisites, and what to bring each day.
