Search and Rescue Merit Badge Day

Saturday, January 23, 10:00 am- 4:00 pm

Designed for ages 11-17

Scouts will have the opportunity to earn the Search and Rescue Merit Badge.

Mataguay Scout Ranch (Mataguay Rd, Santa Ysabel, CA 92070) 

Cost: $35 for youth

Lunch is NOT included. You should bring a sack lunch and a water bottle

Check-in opens at 9:45 am 

Youth must pre-register. NO WALK-INS.

All attending Scouts must bring a Merit Badge application (blue card) with them, signed by their Unit Leader. Blue cards shall not be issued at the event.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing 2 weeks before the event. Requests for refunds after 2 weeks will be at the discretion of the Staff Partner and only for extreme, extenuating circumstances.

Please submit all requests for cancellations and refunds to Weekend Program 2027 at sdiccamp@scouting.org or mail in your request to Weekend Program 2025 SDIC-BSA, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA. 92103

Please allow 2-3 weeks after camp dates for processing of your refund if applicable.
