Den Chief in Training

1st Year Scouts under 12 years old

Den Chief Training is the basic training course for Boy Scouts who wish to serve as a Den Chief in a Cub Scout Pack.  This training is required to receive the Den Chief Award!  Please wear your Boy Scout uniform!  Bring pen and paper!  

The Den Chief who completes this training will be equipped to carry out successfully his role and position of responsibility in his Den, Pack and Troop.  He will understand his relationship to the Adult Den Leaders and to the boys in his Den and how that relates to his activities and responsibilities in the Den.  Adult leaders who work with Den Chiefs are encouraged to attend with them to learn how to make best use of a Den Chief. Participants will receive a t-shirt and patch.
