Early Bird Registration:

Before May 15, 2019: $110 per Scout (includes T-shirt and patch)

After May 15, 2019: $125 per Scout (includes T-shirt and patch)

Day Camp is an extension of the Cub Scout Program. It is designed to help individual Scouts maintain the interest generated during the regular Scouting year through activities that can prepare them for advancement. During the summer, Scouts are working towards the following school year's rank (i.e. if currently a Wolf/2nd grade, then at camp he/she would work on the Bear Rank).

Tiger Cubs must be accompanied by their Adult Partner.


VOLUNTEER INFORMATION: District Day Camps are 100% volunteered and availability will be determined by the number of volunteers.

Are you enthusiastic, caring, and have a sense of adventure? We need you… One day or all five.

Adults volunteering will receive a camp T-shirt.

We also offer a sibling program for those PARENT VOLUNTEERS with a child age 4-13 years old, needing child care during the hours they volunteer. Contact Camp Director for more information.

Payments can be made online or at our council office. Full payment is due by July 1, 2019.

This summer we will have archery, BB guns, pool, crafts, scout skills for their individual ranks, sports, an obstacle course and several activities targeting NOVA awards - all developed around this year's Day Camp theme.

Please bring a sack lunch, filled water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and wear your camp T-shirt EVERY DAY!

A copy of the BSA Medical Form – Part A and Part B AND the Shooting Sports Permission Form are required for each participant.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to your camp session. Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the Staff Partner and only for extreme, extenuating circumstances.

Please submit all requests for cancellations and refunds to District Summer Camp at sdiccamp@scouting.org or mail in your request to District Summer Camp SDIC-BSA, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA. 92103

The $50 deposit is nonrefundable. Please allow 2-3 weeks after camp dates for processing of your refund if applicable.
