High Adventure Leader WATER Trek Training Session IV

This 15-hour course prepares unit leaders to operate on flat and moving water. Session IV includes training on water safety and canoe handling.   Leaders completing sessions I, II, and IV receive a patch and numbered card.

A trained adult with a current card must accompany units on all water outings. Leaders must renew Water Trek Card every 4 years.

Particulars

Fee: $15.00 
Prerequisites:
  • HALTT Sessions I, II
  • A CPR card
  • Any level of Red Cross (or equivalent) First Aid card
  • Current Safe Swim Defense training (take online by logging into MyScouting under trainings)
  • Current Safety Afloat training (take online by logging into MyScouting under trainings)
  • Please bring Medical forms part A and B for each participant.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to your session. Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the High Adventure Staff Partner.

Please submit all requests for cancellations and refunds to HALTT at sdiccamp@scouting.org or mail in your request to HALTT SDIC-BSA, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA. 92103

Please allow 2-3 weeks after session for processing of your refund if applicable.
