Balboa Trailblazer Boy Scout Day Camp

July 30- August 3, 2018

Camp runs from 8 am - 3:30 pm 

This camp is ONLY for NEW Boy Scouts who have not achieved the rank of First Class and LDS 11 year old Scouts.

A NON-REFUNDABLE $50 DEPOSIT CAN HOLD YOUR SPOT. Remainder is due July 16, 2018

 

     Costs:

  • $200 per Scout 
  • after care offered: 3:30-5:30 pm $10 each additional day or $45 for week

Bring a sack lunch every day

 

Trailblazer Summer Day Camp at Camp Balboa is exactly where you want to be for an exciting week of Rank Requirement Activities, swimming, archery, pellet guns, games and more! 

This camp has been specifically designed to meet the needs of new Boy Scouts.  Every activity planned for the week is meant to give him a great introduction to the Boy Scout Camping Program and also a head start towards advancement.

The Program focuses on the requirements on the Trail to First Class and will include, Swimming, First Aid, and Leatherwork merit badges  

A record of all Rank achievements and merit badges earned will be sent home after the close of camp for him to give to his Scout Leader and Advancement Chair to sign off in his book.

This camp is ONLY for NEW Boy Scouts who have not achieved the rank of First Class and LDS 11 year old Scouts.

 FIREARM PERMISSION SLIP (for those boys wanting to shoot) and a PART A & B of the BSA HEALTH FORM are REQUIRED to attend camp.

$200.00 per Participant
Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing two weeks prior to your camp session. Requests for refunds less than two weeks will be at the discretion of the Director of Support Service.

Please submit all requests for cancellations and refunds to BalboaTrailblazer Camp at sdiccamp@scouting.org or mail in your request to Balboa Trailblazer Camp SDIC-BSA, 1207 Upas Street, San Diego, CA. 92103

The $50 deposit is nonrefundable. Please allow 2-3 weeks after camp dates for processing of your refund if applicable.
