Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills is a two day, overnight hands-on training program that give adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in their outdoor programs. It is required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters to be fully trained. It is recommended for Cub Scout & WEBELOS leaders.
Participants will be camping overnight on Saturday and should bring their own tents, overnight sleeping supplies, chair, compass, Scout Handbook (if available).Field uniform and activity/troop t-shirt recommended; Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes. Bring completed Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A & B).
Attendees should have completed Leader Position Specific training, Youth Protection Training (YPT) & Hazardous Weather. Trainings are available online www.my.scouting.org/
