The Kodiak Challenge 2018

Five awesome days! Sept 1-2 and Sept 14-16
This is a fun and exciting Co-ed Leadership course!
Cost for five days is $205 (pay before July 31 and discounted fee is $190) and
includes all equipment rental, camp related fees, course materials, t-shirt, meals, and lodging.
The course takes two weekends and a mandatory pre-course meeting:
Pre-Course meeting Sun. Aug. 12 at Camp Balboa from 3-5 pm.
Week 1: 9am Sat. Sept. 1 to 4:30pm Sun. Sept. 2 at the Youth Aquatic Center
Week 2: 7pm Fri. Sept. 14 to 4:30pm on Sun. Sept. 16 at Mataguay Scout Ranch
Participants must be present the entire time to remain in the course.
All participants must submit a current Medical Form ABC
with a signed consent form.

This course is open to ALL youth, male and female, ages 14 and older (finished with 8th grade) who want to become better leaders and have a great time while doing it! You must have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troop, Crew, or Ship. You will learn about planning, communicating, team development, inclusiveness, values, ethical decision making, and servant leadership. High Adventure activities include: Sailing, Paddleboard, Kayaking, low and high COPE, & more! The course is limited to 24 youth. A special crew of 8 adult leaders will be accepted into the course. Adults may not earn youth awards, however, but will experience the entire course and receive a certificate of completion. This course is led by experienced youth.
